Dreams and Creativity

What will you do with your dream? Now that morning has come and you're awake, what will come of the night's dream or dreams?
What we know is that one of the functions of dreams is enhancing creativity. Great inventions have come as a result of the dreamer's having dreampt it. Sometimes a work of art or literature is nudged forward by a dream. The freedom of the dream is that rules are broken, novel solutions arise or a problem gets solved through enhanced creativity. Creativity is often about setting aside the conventional, going with the unusual or paradoxical.
What we can hope is that the dream-maker's gift will be freeing enough that we can be more creative, gain more confidence, and be more willing to let go of self-imposed barriers.
