Vacation reflections

"Vacations will be fun in every way," is the myth. They are fun in most every way, but it is easier to sleep in one's own bed, and brush teeth in a familiar lav. It is a forgotten luxury to hang my clothes in my own closet.
I must be a nester, a critter of habit, a couch potato, dare I say a "stick-in-the-mud"?
But a change of scenery has been such an absolute luxury. To see the familiar well-loved faces of my family of origin has been such a pleasure. And to rest my eyes on the jagged Rocky Mountain horizon has been heaven. I am breathing clear air, a change from my usual Southwest "gook."
But home is where I belong. . . and I will be there again soon. Meanwhile, thanks to all my faithful readers. More later . . .
