as carefree, as the toddler with her first pair of flip flops.
To be able to visualize what and how the little ones feel is almost a lost skill for those of us of retirement age. We look at the world with eyes that very contrasting current experience.
But we must try to see it through those fresh eyes every now and then. We fail to do at our peril. "A child shall lead us," are the wise words we should heed. Let us follow those little ones, secure in the day, happy at the prospect of tomorrow. If we stay grounded in each of the coming days we will be more carefree. We cannot undo yesterday; we do not have to do tomorrow before its time.
