It is almost the end of July. August is upon us. We have yet to be in summer for which we had hoped. Some of us are in the summer doldrums. Where has summer gone already?September will come before we are ready for it. What happened; why didn't we notice this as it was happening? We were bound by habit and structure, unable to grab hold of the freedom that was summer's promise.
Month after month we languished. What was the source of our flatness and discouragement? It came from a dearth of new ideas. We kept hitting a creative low. Confused, all we could achieve were hollow words, excuses, justifications, or rationalizations. We just could not get going with it.
Mike Davis, my old blogger "friend" is going to offer a Monday Morning Miracle post that is perfect for here - "an item of any nature with the power to make me laugh, despite the challenges inherent with the beginning of the week," Mike says.
. . . Maybe, not a laugh out loud, but at least a smile.
