Up, up and away -
There is something very enticing about the space program at NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Agency. I will never be an astronaut, but I get vicarious enjoyment from their dangerous and exhilarating adventures.
There is something very enticing about building an artificial world that orbits the earth. That world is already in existence; it is called the International Space Station. I will never live there, but I imagine what it would be like to be floating around the globe doing science.
There is something very enticing about taking a ride on a bomb that is exploding you into the stratosphere. The space vehicle might have the name Endeavour, Atlantis or Discovery. Astronauts are going on another mission on October 23. I will, from the confort of my armchair, again be "going along for the ride" with them in Discovery as they bring Harmony to the ISS.
