Making good Mondays is like making coffee -

The week is before us - like the coffee pot - waiting to brew. Making it good is a matter of choice, luck, creativity, patience and acceptance of the outcome.

Currently at Making Good Mondays

Active elements on this page: Occasionally I will publish a new blog post, but I write mostly at other sites.

Keys Porridge Hot

The keys are in the pot, which is where I keep them. How many times have you asked,
"Where are my keys?"
What is more frustrating than looking for our keys?
Are the lost or just missing? Who took them? Did you borrow my keys?
Key chains are supposed to hold keys together, not rabbit's feet, or furry rubber balls, or your address and phone number.
Myth is the public dream, and dream is the private myth. - Joseph Campbell
Campbell's quote above leads me to ask, what are the myths about keys?

  • The keys will get me into the city.
  • The answer to the key question will solve the puzzle.
  • I am the key to my own success.
  • A key is better than a combination.
  • The key to a good martini is less vermouth, or an onion, or an olive.
And the key to a good blog post is to know when to wrap it up. I think this is the place. Hang 'em up on the hook, huh?
Or "put 'em in the pot."
