Out There
A small enigmatic photo can send the imagination into action. Today's illustration propels my thoughts "out there," and brings these pleasant childhood memories/associations to mind. I am keenly aware that these good memories are primary, first tracks laid down in an impressionable young mind. I recall a sense of pleasure, of excitement or wonder. And I know it was those feelings that enabled me to remember these images with such immediate and amazing clarity.
  • Playing in the lawn sprinkler on a warm summer's day
  • Looking through the front windshield on a snowy drive
  • Watching the huge spotlight advertising the carnival just into town
